BIP “Modern Management 2026”, hosted for the third consecutive year at VIKO Faculty of Business Management, brought together more than 30 participants – students and lecturers from Fontys University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Avans University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), University of Almería (Spain), Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Estonia), Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Germany), and VIKO 🌍✨. We are especially proud that Fontys UAS and Deggendorf Institute of Technology are partners within the HEROES Alliance, further strengthening the value of this international collaboration 🤝.
Challenge-based learning is at the core of these short exchange weeks, aiming to foster fast-paced learning, teamwork in international groups, idea generation, and decision-making in response to real organisational challenges 💡💼. This year’s programme partner was CITCO, presenting a challenge on strengthening community and collaboration in hybrid work environments (“Enhancing Cross-Cultural Collaboration and Remote Work Effectiveness in a Global Financial Services Environment”).
Throughout the week, students worked intensively in Design Thinking workshops, and on Friday they presented their solutions and early prototypes to company representatives 🎯📊. The programme also included a cultural dimension, allowing participants to explore Vilnius through an Old Town tour, a Lithuanian cultural evening, and community-building activities 🏙️.
We sincerely thank all participants for their energy, CITCO for the close collaboration, and the Faculty lecturers for the professional organisation of the programme 💚💙
