Best wishes from University of Nicosia (Cyprus)

Hey-hey @Vilniaus Kolegija students!

I’m Oleksandra Vekhnina, a Tourism Management student at the VIKO Faculty of Business Management.

I would like to share my #Erasmus experience this semester.

I have been given the chance to study the entire fall semester at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, which was quite an unexpected and spontaneous decision for me. Cyprus is an incredibly beautiful island stated in the Mediterranean, which is always happy to welcome new guests from different countries.

As a third year Tourism Management student, I have discovered the interesting subject of Cruise Management. The most exciting thing is that you can observe and study those gigantic cruise ships along the coast of Limassol. Here I have met many friends who made this student time special for me. Working together to open the Ukrainian club for Ukrainian students, we have been able to make little progress so far in founding it. However, we are working on improving it further. I am pleased to realize that I have become a part of such an important project.

Do not lose the opportunity to travel and study with the Erasmus Plus, because these are the impressions and experiences that are incredibly valuable for every student.” Oleksandra Vekhnina
