A student delegation from AVANS University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands) visited the Faculty of Business Management on May 10-12.
Together with the students of the Creativity and Business Innovation study programme, the guests solved two challenges of the Faculty partners: the challenge of the company “IGNITIS GROUP” presented by the senior innovation specialist Karolis Mirinavičius and the challenge of the Lithuanian Social Innovation Cluster presented by the director dr. Vilma Popovienė. Furthermore, the cultural context of Lithuania and the Netherlands was presented to the students by Dave Melgers, the 3rd year student of the International Business study programme. Finally, representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lithuania Peter Zwart and Justinas Lingevičius shared geopolitical insights.
Students have also explored Vilnius Old Town, had a field trip to the company “Teltonika” and had a nice barbecue evening that was full of laughter and good vibes in the open-air creativity lab! The final day of the Innovation Expedition started with a creative “Gift giving Experience” training by Anne Marieke Fransen and Karin van den Dool, as well as “Pitch perfect” experience provided by the lecturer Flavius Streianu after which the final “IGNITIS GROUP” and the Lithuanian Social Innovation Cluster challenge ideas were presented and shared with social partners.
