Introducing the speakers of the conference “NO LEFTOVERS: NORDIC/BALTIC CULINARY ARTS”!

ROKAS VASILIAUSKAS is known as a chef – he is the youngest chef listed in the top ten restaurants in the Baltic States according to the “White Guide.” He completed his culinary studies in the UK and has worked in England, Spain and Lithuania. He has been working in the kitchen for over 10 years. One of Rokas’ greatest values as a chef is collaboration with local Lithuanian small and craft businesses and sustainability. This approach emphasizes attention to detail, personalization, high quality and craftsmanship. Rokas’ creative peak occurs in spring and autumn, as these seasons in Lithuania bloom with various colors and markets are filled with goods, leading to endless inspiration. In his free time, Rokas boxes, but not to punch anyone in the face. It’s more for moral strength, for when a guest asks for a tartare or an entrecote cooked until it’s white as a breaded steak. Curious, attentive, family-oriented and incredibly creative!

Interested? Mark your calendars for June 5, 2024, at 9:30 AM, as we gather at the SHED Co-living Vilnius (Santaros st. 3, Vilnius, Lithuania) and virtually (MS TEAMS platform).
