On September 21, a “Student-to-Student” meeting was held at the Faculty of Business Management of Vilniaus kolegija (VIKO) as part of the State Studies Foundation-funded project “Student-to-Student: A Psychological Well‑Being Support Program for Students of Lithuanian Higher Education Institutions”. The event was organised by first-year students of the Advertising Management study programme, who invited students from various study programmes to get acquainted, communicate, and build meaningful connections.
During the meeting, participants actively engaged in a variety of ice-breaking activities, team-building exercises, and informal discussions. These activities helped students establish new connections more easily, encouraged open communication, and created a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Throughout the event, students developed their communication, intercultural communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, which are essential in both academic and professional environments.
One of the main objectives of the event was to enhance students’ emotional well-being. Participating in shared activities helped reduce the anxiety and uncertainty that students often experience at the beginning of their studies, encouraged mutual trust, and strengthened their sense of belonging to the VIKO Faculty of Business Management community. New friendships, positive emotions, and a sense of togetherness contribute to improved emotional well-being, smoother integration into the study environment, and greater student engagement in Faculty life.
