Students explored Kaunas city

On November 18–19, 2024, participants of the project “Foreign Talents for Lithuania” funded by the State Study Foundation, visited Kaunas city. The group consisted of Vilniaus kolegija / Higher Education Institution students from various study programs studying in both Lithuanian and English.

During the visit, students completed various team tasks, prepared video presentations using the storytelling method, and learned about the history of Lithuania and the city of Kaunas. They also visited the company “Baltic Clipper,” where the company’s director, Egidijus Vaišvilas, shared insights into organizing the travel business in Lithuania, the process of travel planning, and the company’s growth story. As part of their exploration of Kaunas’ history, the students visited the Kaunas Castle Museum, where they deepened their knowledge about Lithuania’s defense during the Battle of Grunwald and learned about the daily life of people during that period.
