From 18 th to 21 st September 2023, lecturer Danutė Belazarienė from the Foreign Languages Centre of the Business Management Faculty at Vilniaus kolegija /Higher Education Institution, visited the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Girona in Spain as part of the Erasmus+ exchange programme. The lecturer conducted practical seminars for international and local students on the most important employability competencies, discussed the intricacies of preparing a CV, which would help successfully obtain job offers. During the meetings, aspects determining a successful career direction were discussed, including employee expectations, the contribution of managers to employee motivation, the characteristics of an ideal company, and the importance of English language proficiency when seeking employment in Lithuania and Spain.
The visit also included discussions with International Department employees about opportunities for student and staff mobility and cooperation.
