The 14th International Student Scientific-Practical conference“YOUTH IN A CHANGING SOCIETY”

The Faculty hosted the 14th International Student Conference “Youth in a Changing Society”, which brought together young researchers from seven faculties of Vilnius College as well as from higher education institutions in Lithuania and abroad. It was an energetic, idea-filled day that inspired all participants.

🎤 Plenary Session
The event featured presentations by inspiring guest speakers:

  • Renata Kaminskė, Head of the Life Own Sales Network Department at ERGO Life Insurance SE, spoke about the importance of financial and information literacy for today’s individual.
  • Martynas Norbutas, Director of the Lithuanian Youth Center, discussed the role of young people in shaping sustainable transport.
  • Aušra Vitkauskienė, HR Director at Reitan Convenience, reminded attendees how important it is to build connections in studies and work — not only to be, but to grow together.

💬 Forum: “The Voice of Young Researchers: How Do We Communicate the Word ‘Science’?”
Students confidently discussed the accessibility and clarity of science, as well as how its image is shaped in society. Their insights highlighted the importance of presenting science in a clear and engaging way.

📚 Section Sessions
After the forum, 11 parallel sections began, featuring 92 scientific presentations. The topics covered creativity, the application of artificial intelligence, health, ecology, social responsibility, leadership, civic engagement, and various challenges of modern society.
Participants represented the Faculties of Business Management, Pedagogy, Health Care, Engineering, Arts and Design, and Agrotechnologies — each contributing unique perspectives and research curiosity.
