First-year students of the Faculty’s Creativity and Business Innovations study programme, together with the Head of the Innovation Management Department, lecturer Greta Gruodė and lecturer Gintarė Kriaučiūnaitė-Lazauskienė, visited the Lithuanian Social Innovation Cluster (LSIK). There, the cluster’s director, Dr. Vilma Popovienė, presented the organization’s activities, ongoing initiatives and the challenge that students will work on during their lectures. They also visited one of the members of the Lithuanian Social Innovation Cluster—the restaurant “Pirmas blynas” (MB “Pirmas blynas”), which has been awarded as the best social business initiative in Lithuania.
The visit was organized by Vilniaus kolegija / Higher Education Institution (VIKO) in collaboration with partners as part of the State Studies Foundation project “Foreign Talents for Lithuania: a Search for an Innovative Cooperation Model between Lithuanian Higher Education Institutions and Organizations”.
