On 8 October, a student meeting dedicated to strengthening physical and emotional well-being took place at the Faculty of Health Care of Vilniaus kolegija / Higher Education Institution (VIKO). During the event, students from various study programmes at VIKO discussed challenges commonly faced during their studies, the importance of physical and emotional health, and ways to maintain overall well-being. Working in groups, students analysed different situations, discussed possible solutions, shared their experiences, and explored effective ways to balance their studies, professional aspirations, and personal lives. The Faculty of Business Management was represented by first-year students of the International Business study programme specialising in Human Resource Management (lecturer-practitioner Elmiras Azimovas).
The meeting was organised as part of the project “STUDENT TO STUDENT: A Psychological Well-being Enhancement Programme for Higher Education Students in Lithuania”, funded by the State Studies Foundation of Lithuania and implemented by Vilniaus kolegija / Higher Education Institution. We would like to thank Jurgita Stankūnienė, Head of the Department of Nursing and lecturer at the Faculty of Health Care, for her support in organising the event and for sharing valuable insights on strengthening students’ physical and emotional well-being.
