Teaching visit at Liepaja University, Latvia

From May 2-5, Audra Savickienė, a lecturer at the Department of Tourism, participated in the Erasmus+ teaching mobility program. During her visit, she conducted practical training sessions and engaged in discussions with students from Liepaja University, emphasizing the utilization of modern technologies in the tourism and event industries.

In addition, Audra Savickienė shared with Latvian colleagues good practices of application of virtual reality (VR) technology tools at VIKO, as well as shared a study case about VR potential for students and lecturers to increase their physical activity and enhance the emotional well-being  Latvian colleagues enthusiastically explored opportunities for future collaboration.

Overall, this experience served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, fostering discussions on innovative approaches in education and potential further collaborative initiatives using VR tools.
