On 31st of October to 4th of November 2022 nine students of the International Business and Business Innovation study programs of the Faculty of Business Management together with the head of International business department dr. Nikolaj Ambrusevič participated in the “Dutch Expedition” project of creative and innovative solutions organized by Avans University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands).

During the project, students together with their peers from the University of Villanueva (Spain) participated in a creative thinking workshop led by Avans UAS lecturer Maartje Damen. The practical benefit of the acquired skills was discovered by visiting the High techXL campus of deep technology companies in Eindhoven, known as the Silicon Valley of the Netherlands. Theoretical knowledge was reinforced in a lecture on open innovation. During the lecture, students actively participated in studying the success story of the Tesla company.

Finally, the participants took the opportunity to visit the experience center of the German international software company SAP in Hertogenbosch, where they got to know the company’s operations and the latest technological solutions in creating immersive presentations, digitizing communication and communication tools, ensuring sustainability in business. The students played a sustainable escape room game, tested a simulation model of driving a car, learned about the company’s contribution to ensuring the environmental sustainability of the Coldplay music group’s tour, participated in the company’s challenge and made proposals for cooperation with bicycle manufacturers.
